HOLIDAYS — $40 deposit is required for boarding over area schools Spring Break period, Memorial Day weekend , July 4th, Labor Day weekend, Thanksgiving, and the Christmas/New Year’s holidays. The deposit must be paid at the time of booking and will be applied toward the end cost of boarding. Boarding must be cancelled 7 days prior to scheduled arrival date, otherwise deposit will be forfeited.
Cancellation must be 7 days prior to scheduled arrival date or forfeiture of deposit will result.
Check-in Day
Counted as first day, regardless of drop off time.
Check-out Day
No charge if pet(s) are picked up:
– 9am to 1pm Monday through Saturday
– 9am to 11am Sundays and Holidays
An additional full days boarding will be charged for pets picked up:
– 3pm to 6pm Monday through Saturday
-4pm to 6pm Sundays and Holidays
Required Vaccinations
Dogs
All dogs must be up to date on the following immunizations:
Distemper combo, Rabies, Leptospirosis, and Bordatella (kennel cough), and canine influenza. Bordatella is required every 6 months and must be either intra-nasal or oral.
THE BORDATELLA INJECTION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
The canine influenza will be required as of 11/01/2018. This vaccination is a series of 2 injections administered 3 weeks apart and then yearly thereafter.
All vaccines should be done at least 7 days prior to boarding as immunity is not immediate.
It is recommended that all dogs are on a monthly heartworm, flea, and intestinal worm preventative such as Sentinel or Heartguard combined with Frontline.
Cats
All cats must have the following: FVRCP, RABIES, FELINE LEUKEMIA
All vaccines should be done at least 7 days prior to boarding as immunity is not immediate.
All dogs / cats entering Samarkand Kennels for grooming must have the same immunization status as boarding and day care dogs and cats.
WRITTEN PROOF Of These Vacinations Is Required.

Required Contract and Canine Cough Article
Please open and print out the contract and “Canine Cough” article below as well as the pet behavior questionnaire. In addition, please also print out the HIPPA form, which allows us discuss care with a veterinarian if it becomes necessary. The other form required is in case your pet is abandoned with us, and allows us to look after the welfare of your pet in this unlikely eventuality. All three forms are required for both our and your pet’s protection. Please fill out the contract and forms and bring them to us upon check-in.
